Over the hills and not so far away

It’s only 55 miles over the Pennines. My friend Chris lives on a remote farm near Barnard Castle. I drove over this morning in beautiful warm sunshine.
We ate, drank, chatted, went for a dog park walk. After dinner we went in the wood fired hot tub. It was so quiet and peaceful. We did some stargazing in the dark skys with the help of an app called sky guard. Just as well as the only one I can recognise is Orion. Oh, and did I mention Prosecco? …….
