Looking after the future

Conservation work with the Cumbria Wildlife Trust in the Staveley Woods, firstly clearing a small area that's recently been coppiced and will be fenced off to keep out deer, and here putting fleece around newly planted saplings in what will be a corridor of new trees connecting two of the ancient woodlands.  (It was a glorious sunny day, I'm not sure how I managed to capture such a monotone sky.)
