Lunch with my girl

I had to drive up to mum’s today as Fran & Liam have finished the work on her bungalow. They’ve done a great job and it’s almost ready to rent out. Jane the estate agent came round at 11am and papers were signed, so fingers crossed we find good tenants!

Rachel finishes work at 12pm on Fridays now, so she drive over and we went for an early Mother’s Day lunch. She’s now had two negative tests after testing positive for Covid last week. It was really lovely to spend time just the two of us - well Enzo came too and attracted lots of attention!

My journey home was awful, the traffic was really bad - I guess the nice weather is causing people to drive to the coast! Finally made it home and chilled out in the conservatory with Alan and a bottle of Prosecco!
