Bubble Fun

We had a super bubble blower but the wind kept knocking the bubble solution out of the rim before she could get it to work so we came indoors. Otherwise, we shopped, we walked and ran (she did) and wrote on the driveway with chalk and the back patio and the garage floor and then the dining room table (had to put a stop to that though).  We had great fun and she was having so much fun at home that she didn't want to go to the park or anywhere else.  We bought a book about dinosaurs and one about cats (all on the bargain table).  She went to bed an hour earlier than last night and two hours earlier than the night before.  She hasn't complained about missing her parents more than a tiny bit.  I never would have been so easy going about it at such an early age.  Logan and Josie were in Virginia this morning and planned on driving about  8 hours today, arriving in Texas on Saturday.  So far all is well.  

Flower for Friday in Extra - my Knockout Roses which have been blooming for about a week - hoping they keep going.  Photo was taken at 10 p.m. when I remembered it was Friday and I hadn't taken a picture of them yet so not exactly how I wanted them to look.
