Tea for Two

I went for a coffee with my friend Devon. It was lovely seeing her smile and her pretty shiny eyes.

She feels unlucky just now. But I know her 'luck' will come back because she really is swell, clever, funny and beautiful.

As we sat chatting about all this un-luck I had to sit and watch the users of these cups look joyous, filled with luck. Sometimes it can be very hard to reconcile someone's wonderfulness with the un-luck that they feel, it makes you wonder. I know there's many expressions to explain these things (life's a bitch, everything happens for a reason) but I think I might be too young to fully understand them.

On a side note I think I may have seen Karine Polwart pass by above. Maybe this will give some hope...
