View from the Bridge

I dragged my aching muscles up to the allotment this morning and let them stretch and complain for hour after hour until finally I was finished getting the last veg bed ready for planting. That one’s for the spuds; they are chitting away in the hut and will stay there until there’s no more chance of a frost. Have to say that the plot is looking quite tidy, hiding all the wee jobs that need done!
Down at the Tiq as usual tonight and the place was pretty empty. The last Friday month always used to be busy - payday - but maybe that’s history with so many folk still working from home. Belatedly remembered to take a few pictures as we wandered home.

Record numbers of Covid infections reported today, one in 11 testing positive in Scotland. Meanwhile at least half the folk in Lidl were maskless. I wonder if there’s any connection there?
