The day after 7 degrees (-13.889C)

Last night it dropped to 7 degrees F That is -13.889 degrees C. It was not a record low for April.

perhaps this is the reason T. S. Eliot referred to April as the cruelest month? I doubt it but for gardeners in the Northern Hemisphere it can be harsh.

It will take a long time to asses the damage done, Some plants may not reappear until next spring and in what condition since their foliage was burned off by the cold
