The latest victim

Although we have had a few rain free days, the ground is saturated and any bit of a wind is enough to bring dow some old but waterlogged trees. This one is massive and closed the road for 7 hours whilst the branches and twigs were chopped and chipped.

Work done we took Shiv out for an earlier than normal outing before we met up with Stef, Wade, and two other pals for a fun supper at J’s. The company was excellent, the food just as good. We were all sore from laughing when we departed as the last people in the restaurant. Definitely haven’t done that in a while!
