Thwarted!

Our vicar lives quite close the church and thwarted some would-be thieves last evening.  They had parked a van in the car park twice and Daniel thought it suspicious to walked up to his church to investigate.  They were startled in the process of rifling the vestry and scarpered out of the back door.

He wishes now that he had thought to cut the tyres of the van before investigating.  I'm not surprised that the thieves left quickly as our vicar is not a small chap, nor is he merely a vicar – his has been an "interesting" life before priesthood.
