Niwaki secateurs

My horticultural course is currently covering pruning so I was absolutely delighted when a friend gave me a pair of Niwaki secateurs for my 40th birthday. 

They're the crème de la crème of the gardening industry, Monty Don swears by them (and as soon as I had them in my hands, I could see why). I'm so grateful to have amazing friends! 

These will follow me throughout my gardening career and it'll be fantastic having them for next week's pruning assessment!
