It doesn't happen very often but this year Mother's day coincides with my birthday so I was delighted when this card came from my daughter this morning. I did look at the wording twice:)
I had a lovely day today down at the plot. I planted up some more cucumbers and spring onions. I saw the woodpecker a few times as the leaves haven't come through on the tree yet. It always amazes me how loud they are when they're pecking. In the afternoon I took down my camera and saw it again a couple of times but only managed an extremely blurry flash of red on the branch!
