Colour Co-ordinated
We went to visit my parents in law in Bournemouth today. After a two hour drive with a bucket between my legs containing a bouquet of flowers for Mother’s Day, we stretched our legs as it’s too early to visit them when we arrive. For a change we walked along the promenade to the East side of the pier up to Boscombe where all the beach huts are colour co-ordinated like a paint chart and I managed to get a photo devoid of people. Bournemouth council have allowed developers to build eating and drinking places actually on the beach taking over large areas, we thought it looked rather tacky. The visit went well except when my father in law said he had tried to climb his indoor ladder but was unwilling to climb to the top. I stressed he should not be climbing a ladder at his age of almost 94. He recently fell while stepping onto a bus because the driver had failed to lower the platform. They haven’t been on a bus since, thank goodness.
