Wind in the Willows

This is one of my favourites - Salix udensis 'Sekka'. It's a beauty.

Lovely to share breakfast with J and then have a guided tour of the willows in her tree plot. The blue sky suggests a somewhat warmer day than it was in reality. It was a relief to get out of the biting wind and sit in the polytunnel and share ideas about seed sowing for the coming season.
