a little love from the weeds...

In Japan, this is known as karasu no endou (crow's peas?), dunno why.

I grew up surrounded by fields massively overcome by this plant. It's just a part of my childhood, wading through tangles of it as we explored the various farms.

Just these last 2 years it has begun growing along the riv here in my neighborhood in Nagoya. An old friend come to visit and brighten my day.
