They Can't All Be Pretty Butterflies!

At least, not in my blip journal!  I photograph whatever interests me and bugs and beetles and insects and spiders are among those things that do.    My friend, Gina, pointed this guy out to me as we were opening her front door to go in and have our Chinese take-out for lunch.  I snapped a couple of quick shots and thought little more about it until I got home and looked at my pictures on the computer screen.  I found this Banded Hickory Borer much more interesting to me than any pareidolia lurking in my won ton soup, so this is what you get to see today.....
