B.A.C.K. to Basics

Lights!

One crossed off the Honey-Do list. It was a bit more of a project than we expected.

It was assumed that the light over the basement stairwell was hooked to the “extra light switch” on the wall. We were wrong! And had to go on a wild goose chase to track down the wire and where it ended. Finding it in the exterior wall outside, under the vinyl siding. Hot, live wire just sitting inside a hole in the wall behind the siding. What!?!? Crisis averted, BJ was quick to remove electricity to the wire and use the existing feed to h go out a new hole and run the lights.

Lots of work, but the end result is just what I wanted. The lights are surprisingly bright for their small size. It’s a soft diffused light and perfect to illuminate the entire deck.

Now we just need to stain the deck so we can put out the “real” furniture.

Thank you hun!
