A 90th Birthday Party
It’s been a beautiful autumnal day - blue sky, sunshine, warm temperatures. After breakfast we cycled into central Auckland and back to get some exercise. Back home it was a quick shower and change, then across the road to pick Mum up and head off to my aunt’s 90th birthday party. We spent most of the afternoon outside in the sunshine. It was lovely to catch up with family whom we haven’t seen for ages, and just a really lovely celebration.
My aunt and her brother and sister (my Mum) must have good genes, as all three of them are now in their nineties.
The blip is a photo of the three of them - Mum on the left (95 in July), uncle in the middle (just turned 93) and the birthday girl on the right (90 today).
