Dinner
A quick and easy Quorn and leek baked risotto for dinner today. I spent the morning at the village hall volunteering which I love to do, it's a super social event for our village and those round and about. It was a happy fun morning and quite busy, about 60 bacon butties and several more cups of tea and coffee! All providing quite a lot of washing up to follow! I'm also making teas and coffees there tomorrow as there is an afternoon Mothering Sunday service at the church, followed by tea and cake at the hall. Kath and I volunteered as the lady that usually does it is in hospital. I think it may be an ongoing job for us as Ann is quite a bit older and her health has been deteriorating. Hopefully she will be back soon and we can wait on her!
Back home I made some delicious gluten free cookies for the first time. One of the newer ladies at the matting group is gluten intolerant so I thought I'd trial some cookies I could take for sharing that were nice for everyone, these were indeed very nice!
Tried to insert the link several times but it doesn't want to work today! But this is where you can find them if you so desire!
