Stage 2 Sunday 20th

As it was such a beautiful day today, I decided to continue with stage 2 of sorting out the garden. I need to dig over a lot of the muddy area on both sides so that I can return it to grass and have proper borders again. One of the shrubs that I planted many years ago had spread its roots and was really tricky to get out.
Dad very kindly took Chris and I out to The New Inn for lunch which saved me a lot of time and I also managed a trip to the shops and a load of marking. Matt arrived home from uni for a couple of weeks to work so I had to prepare his room too.
This beautiful weather looks as though it's here for the whole week. Perfect.
