Perhaps this is the new normal.

I hope not. I've spent an hour hosing down my terrace, trying to get rid of all the sand sludge that has accumulated everywhere.

And it's still dirty when it's dried. Will have to mop after the next bout of rain due tomorrow and Tuesday.
