Kinwarton Dovecote

We stopped off at this 14th century dovecote on our way home from a delicious lunch.  Its walls are a metre thick and there is space for over 500 birds.  We will go for a closer look on another day.

Mothering Sunday is often difficult for many reasons.  I always found it a little disconcerting but now it is a day when I miss my Mom and sister.
