A specialist and…

LDC and myself went to see a specialist this morning. He was really thorough and we both felt he was really good. Unfortunately, at the end of the visit he told us that LDC needed to go back to hospital straightaway. We were both shocked, also because LDC didn’t feel as badly as he did back in November and December. I took him to hospital and left him in front of the door. Then drove home crying more for the shock than anything. At home I had to break the news to LDC’s mum first (she was looking after Nigel for us) and in the afternoon to NSLLDC when he came back from college. Both of them were quite shocked, but embraced the challenge again. 

Tomorrow LDC will undergo another operation, number three since November.
