(Blipped on 27th March)

G didn't have to be in school today, and as the temperature has dropped by nearly 10degC thanks to a cold spell sweeping over the Middle East, it was the perfect day to visit more countries. Today, we concentrated on countries in the Opportunity District.

Starting in Sierra Leone, we then visited Congo (it should have been DR Congo), Burundi, North Macedonia, Malawi, Timor Leste, Ghana, St Vincent & the Grenadines, Guinea Bissau, Nigeria, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Sri Lanka, Austria (for a Sacher Torte), Belarus, Colombia, Norway, Brunei, Iraq, Bahrain, Vietnam, Guyana, Liberia, Tunisia, Mali, Indonesia and Tonga. It was great to finally go into Opportunity district's highly interactive themed pavilion called "Mission Possible". Later, we also got to see the Flying Piano exhibit.

We fully intended to drop into Ireland for St. Patrick's Day, but by this stage, the sun had gone down, and G had decided to cancel her Zoom lesson, so heading to the exit, we visited the countries still left to see in the Sustainability District. Equatorial Guinea, Suriname, Gabon, Bangladesh, Guinea, Cuba, Turkey, Comoros, Yemen, Andorra, and the Bahamas are now scratched off the list. Phew!

I have to admit I struggled to walk back to the car and was thrilled to get a ride back from the gate to the car. We were home by 10 PM, but too tired to think of even looking at my pictures, let alone trying to blip. (We took over 600 photos between us!) G still has to go to school tomorrow, though not for 7:30. :))
