Hey Mickey!

Hey Mickey!..

Meet Mickey, our Mr M's our pet cockatiel. Mr M met him while he was still working in a Nursing Home and would often greet him and make a lot of excited noise whenever Mr M walked into the room. So much so that when Mr M transferred to work in the hospital, the home's staff had to give it to him.
He is now effectively 18 yrs old (72 in human years).
We didn't meet in good terms. When I came to UK (8 years ago), it was Mickey who was in the bedroom with Mr M, so he wasn't too pleased to be moving out. But we're good friends now, I should think. He did pose for me, didn't he?
He can say "Hello" with his teenei-weenie voice, makes a lot of noise when he hears Mr M's car engine coming in through the driveway (doesn't react if it's somebody else), whistles along when played opera songs and other lively music (he loves "Wouldn't It Be Nice" by the Beach Boys), he gets excited when there's a lot of children around him (he loves the attention!), starts chattering as well when we go on webcam with family (like he's a part of the conversation!), he prefers to eat the same time as we do (he starts as soon as he hears the plates and cutlery being put in order) and best of all, he makes the 'sexy whistle' whenever I walk in through the door (mind you, he doesn't do that for anyone else!).
