Free to a good home
Yesterday my wife spotted an advert
"Free to a good home photography equipment".
This sounded good and would I am sure would come in most useful for the camera club whatever the equipment would turn out to be. I contacted the person who informed me that there was about two boxes to collect, this turned out to be five boxes. It turned out that his grandad used to process his own film and he was too old to do it anymore and it had been stored away until now. Our front room was a little full when we returned home and the everyday family jobs would have to be finished before I could delve into these treasure chests. My daughter commented that it was like christmas all over again for me as I emptied the contents out on to the dining table. There was all sorts of processing equipment, a slide projector and 29 books which I am sure will keep me and the club entertained for quite sometime. As for my wife I think that she is sorry she spotted the advert in the first place that is until i manage to find a home for it all to live.
