Casper
I was grateful to Casper for sitting still on a fence post as I returned to the house; none of the other photos from my quick tour of the garden as the light failed were worth keeping. It had been a busy day. J and I were both quite fed up after her medical appointment, I was even more despondent to hear that Covid cases were up by a million over the past week, bringing the incidence in England to about one person in sixteen; and the last part of the afternoon somehow disappeared before I remembered I hadn't taken any photos. I was grateful to the obliging cat, and to P for making shortbread for me to eat with my coffee.
