SUNDAY

I was up at 04:00 BST although my body clock was still attuned to it being 03:00 GMT. After a quick cappuccino, I drove Harriet and George over to Manchester Airport for their early morning flight to Rome.

Then back on the M62 to junction 22 and home via Ripponden. The road runs over the moors alongside Boothwood Reservoir and parallel to the motorway. I took this photo shortly after 06:00.

A bit of sorting, a short walk and the Ipcress Files on TV this evening.

It's now almost 23:00 and I have been up for 19 hours.
