Spoilt

Felt a lot better today but still testing positive. Gorgeous weather again….although apparently we’re heading for hail and snow later in the week! I caught up on ironing as the sun poured into the kitchen whilst A went to do the food shopping, then she went to pick up these beautiful flowers from Mt&H for Mother’s Day, and they called to say hi and show me the cards AR and Mx had made for H. AR starting to do joined up writing in parts and Mx writing his own name (extra).
N drove back up…he’d stayed down south last week since I had the virus but now thinks he has it himself and got sent home from work (later he got results on test and isn’t positive, just has a cold). A and I did a bit of gardening….or rather just clearing some of the old nettles and brambles and raking leaves into corners, but it was nice to be out in the fresh air. She then made dinner of salmon tacos with fresh salsa and salad. Delicious.
She also baked some lemon and basil biscuits from the Nadiya book but there was a mistake in the recipe (luckily she realised before it was too late and rectified it!) but that took her longer than she thought so we didn’t end up watching Coda the film as we’d planned so we’ll do that another night. It’s been a lovely Mother’s Day
