Victoria Baths 106 West Nile Street Glasgow

Another building that I walk past every Sunday is also on West Nile Street but opposite the Greek Thomson one I posted earlier.
I have walked past it for years but had no idea it was originally the Victoria Baths complete with swimming pool, built in 1837.  It was also used as a gymnasium and a fencing academy at one time in the 19th century.
In 2004 the building was redeveloped and now only the facade remains.
The architect James Smith was the father of Madeleine Smith notorious for the trial and attempted murder of her fiancé.
