Broken

As you can see from today's image, something has gone seriously wrong on the camera front. A large over-exposed area has started appearing on all my images, irrespective of the lens or any settings. I'm wondering if its a stuck shutter blade or something wrong with the sensor? Looks like I might need a big repair ...... or a new camera (I've had this one since 2012). Either way, I may be absent for a short while.
