First tulips

These are the first tulips I have spotted in the village. Last night I received a call from our UK tenants who could not, on a Sunday, contact the agent as they had water flooding through the kitchen ceiling. Fortunately I was able to show them, via a video call, how to isolate the water in the feed pipe to the bathroom toilet. I spent some time this morning on the phone to the letting agent and my insurance company. I have yet to find out how this leak happened.

I played tennis in the morning with two friends who have come over on holiday. There was an a quick turnaround to go to the painting group. There were only three of us but we had a very pleasant afternoon nonetheless. Lesley brought a coffee cake. I had resolved to eat less afternoon cake but as this one is my favourite, I weakened!
