California driving test

Today, I passed my California driving test!! Of all the days to choose, mine coincided with one of the biggest downpours in Ventura for many years. Some of the roads favored by the testers were impassable and were it not for our noble VW Atlas i might have come unstuck in what appeared to be raging rivers. As is the custom, I have to be accompanied to the test by a licensed driver in case I failed and needed to be driven home; that was Don’s role. He wasn’t allowed to sit in the car and heckle me though. I now await my California license, curious about how my mugshot turns out.
