Workmen

View from the living room window; definitely not a good day to be working at home.

It took these five guys exactly one day to demolish the building, pull out 20 or so trees, and flatten the ground and tidy up. It was amazing to watch, but it wasn't one for the health and safety conscious. They literally rocked up at 9 am and drove a digger through the front of the building at the back, and then swung the digger's arm around a bit to knock the rest of it down. Meanwhile, at the other end, the digger was pulling out the trees by grabbing hold of a tree and pulling itself up onto one track, and then using the digger's weight and a bit of shaking to loosen the tree. Surely, there is a better and safer way to do this stuff!
