Gimme shelter!

This poor pheasant spent all day in the front garden, sheltering from the wind. It was lovely and sunny, but the wind was fierce!

I was pretty shattered by the time I had cycled to the village and back.  Yes, it is an electric bike but one still does have to pedal. It was hard going up the hills and against the wind! The battery came in very handy! 

It was great fun and I'm going to make a concerted effort to go out on it more often. Might need a way of carrying a small dog on it . . . . !
