Clitheroe.

My hairdresser had to close her shop I Whalley as she couldn't get another stylist so she rents a chair at a salon in Clitheroe. She is quite relieved now about it as covid really didn't help and her business partner going on maternity leave. It was nice going back to Clitheroe (I moved from there in 2014). I always park so I have a walk. 20 years ago the shop on the left was a newsagents, it is a hair salon now. The chippy on this block one of the best in Clitheroe shut down last Friday due to escalating costs of everything, am sure many more businesses will also be struggling just like many people. 
I called in for a lovely catch up with Pat on my way home.
