This is a beautiful 'Bennie' hat made by Kaffe Fassett. I went to an exhibition of his work and saw all the beautiful and colourful garments and quilts he had made. It included his very first knitted item, a cardigan in stripes of muted heather and grass shades. I also noted that the 'Maestro' did not sew in the ends in order to make it neater! There is hope for me yet.
