Our friends in the North

The snow has gone, it's turning warmer and the grass is growing hopefully these little guys will now make it.
I was out walking my dog and spotted these guys on the other side of a field gate. I had to get quite close to get this shot and felt sure they would move before I took their picture, fortunately they stayed put just long enough to capture it.
