Magnolia

A beautiful Magnolia in my friends’ garden this afternoon. At its loveliest at this stage, I think, the colours and shape are so well defined - when they open fully they start to lose petals and fade. 
The garden had so many lovely plants - but unfortunately the light was not so good - a very dull overcast day  - until I got in the car to go home, and the sun broke through!
