Hobble End Fog
The fog descended at sunrise today, and didn't properly lift until lunchtime in some places. I was out early at the supermarket and on my way home I stopped at the quaintly named Hobble End to visit a favourite tree.
Normally, I don't photograph in this direction due to the large electric pylons that spoil the view. However, with thick fog I was hardly able to see the cottage at the end of the road, let alone anything further away.
Later in the day we met up with family for a walk and pub lunch. As we left the pub for the walk back the sun made its first appearance and, while it was still cool, it made for a very pleasant accompaniment on the return.
