Rain laden magnolia

I took this photo on my way to a performance at our grandson’s school. It was the first “in school” event for over two years. The pupils were excellent. The parents and carers loved it. Siblings from different year groups were also invited. An excellent event all round.

The rain was much needed for all our recent garden planting. It also refilled the water butt. Less welcome was the chilly temperatures and by this evening the heating was back on again. We are turning into wimps, I think!

Our upstairs studio/library/music room was given further attention today and is almost finished now with pictures hung and furniture sorted.
