Chihuly Was Here?

Late this afternoon I went down to the lake for an hour or so of meandering around the beach area, looking for photo ops. I haven't had much luck lately with the dull gray weather but then today, the sun was out - and it is still cold - so...there was ICE!  Endless phot-ops!  Plus, a wild turkey eating out of a little child's hand, and geese having a cold bath, one splashing about and the other doing some sort of stretch! 

But the piece de resistance for me was all that hanging ice..glistening in the sun...all kinds of shapes..globules, balls, and daggers of ice...ice coating everything near the water's edge, draping itself over tree limbs and branches  - it was like walking through a Dale Chihuly beach installation! Wow..

So glad I decided to give the lake another try!
