Marigold on the sofa

It is a very pretty antique sofa. I keep it covered to prevent the sun fading the fabric and to avoid pets doing any damage. Marigold was a little offended as I was sitting on a nearby chair and there was no room for her and the book I was reading. The book won. But she is looking a bit puffed up. It’s her winter coat starting to grow. It’s been cloudy most of the day; very good conditions for gardening. I’ve been applying compost to garden beds. Very satisfying.
