Myakka River

I went out early to kayak in the fog.  I was the only person at the launch and I didn't see any other boats for 3 hours.  I love kayaking in the fog.  It amplifies the sound of the river coming to life...all the birds!  Being in south Florida is different and I expected a lot more people.  Maybe its the reputation this river has for huge gators.  It didn't disappoint!  The river at high noon in extra, the same location, heading back to the launch.
