Outside and Inside

Logging trucks drive by my house on a regular basis, often way to fast.  I was going to the mailbox when a bit of bark flew off a passing truck.  It is a good thing I wasn't closer to the road or the chunk of bark could of konked me on the head!  Not sure what type of tree it is but I think it has wonderful texture, both outside and inside, so I brought it in.  Only in Maine does one risk being knocked unconscious by flying bark while collecting the mail!
