Hand me down flowers

Up early on a Sunday and it wasn't becuse I was working! Off to a Aqualthon 500m pool swim followed by a 5.5km run.

Was really pleased with my performance ... K and I have competed against each other since we started Triathlons 3 years ago and she always beats me!!! So today, I'm a length behind her in the pool, take 10 seconds extra than her in transition and catch her within a mile on the run and stay in front. I finished over the line first, which is a first, but she beat me over all by 4seconds!!!!!

Well pleased with the result and to top it off Mum cooled a lovely roast chicken lunch, oh and as she is off on hoilday tomorrow, gave me some of the flowers she got for her birthday, the lillies smell lovely!
