They're carrots Jim, but not as we know them......

Some rather attractive 'heritage' carrots we'll be eating this evening.

Friends have arrived to stay for a few days so my commenting may be a bit sparse.  One thing we had planned was a meal tomorrow night at Meadowsweet, our new Michelin starred restaurant in town.  At lunchtime today we had a phone call from them to say they had had to close due to Covid; very apologetic!  We've managed to get a table elsewhere but it won't be in quite the same league (or price bracket!).
