12 million little friends!

After the clean-up of yesterday, the Council sent a truck 2 hours later and removed all the old bits of undercarpet, couch frames and truck-tyres from outside the underground carpark. Amazingly helpful! :)

This morning I listened to the Chinese Grand Prix, then went to the allotment to water in 12 million nematodes. These great little guys will parasitise any slug that puts its horrible little body onto the soil, before it can eat our crops :))))

Well, that's the theory, anyway. Last year the weather was so consistently slug-tastic that even the nematodes couldn't keep the wee bastards at bay.
