A good day

Usual morning chores. Then an impromptu mini blip meet with Nicoiseannie at Moggerhanger Park.

I’d mentioned to her last week that if she was free today it would be good to have a little wander, take some pictures and have a cuppa, as it’s my birthday today. And we did just that that. A perfect way for me to celebrate so huge thanks for getting me out today Anne.
And for the lovely salix - it is beautiful and survived the car journey home.
My blip today is something I’ve never seen before. It’s called a drumstick primrose. A lovely splash of colour in the walled garden at Moggerhanger.
Lots of spring flowers and changes since we went last. The woodland walk was glorious and the bluebells - in extra - are already showing.
We saw a buddleia in flower, dogs mercury in the woodland, lots of anemones and primulas. All looking so pretty.
