A VISITOR

I haven't seen you for a while,
I didn't hear you come in,
But I saw you creeping in though my bedroom window.
I'm sorry I shut you out
But it was so early.
You came with me to church
I saw you through the window
What a joy it is to have you.
It was great that you joined me on my walk home
You are our energy
And my favourite visitor.
Dear sun I hope you stay all day
And visit again tomorrow.
