Summer Isles.

This is the view from the road to Achiltibuie, in front of the Summer Isles Hotel.
A difficult shot as there is a monstrosity of a plastic "building" which totally despoils the view. Can't imagine why it was erected, but it seems to have failed in it's purpose. Planning permission? What's that?

Achiltibuie became a catch word in my family about 50 years ago whilst on holiday at Stoer. We never went there, but Mum, now Grannie & Great Grannie, loved singing the name.
